a child looking up

Our fees vary per nursery school, so please do contact us to discuss these in more detail.

All of our settings offer the Government universal 15 hour funding, which provides funding for a nursery education place for up for 15 hours per week to all 3-4 year olds. Children are eligible for the funding from the term after they turn 3. The child’s 3rd birthday needs to occur on or before March 31st, August 31st and December 31st to be eligible for the funding from the following term.

We also offer a number of full day places, which will include the 30 funded hours for those families that meet the government eligibility criteria.

We will apply to the borough council on behalf of parents once a child is eligible. The funding provided does not cover the total cost of placing a child at The Kindergartens, therefore we charge an additional hours and services package.

The additional services charge is due to the cost of providing the following:

  • Qualified staff of a high calibre.
  • Maintaining a smaller teacher to child ratio.
  • The provision of peripatetic staff to deliver extra curricular activities including sport, music, drama and dance.
  • Additional learning experiences such as Forest School.
  • Snacks and other consumables.

The funded hours are offered between 9:00am and 12:00pm, and 1:00pm to 4:00pm. each day.

For parents looking for the universal free 15 hours who are unable to pay for the additional hours and services package we do offer a limited number of fully funded places in the afternoon at some of our nursery schools.

Please contact us for more information.
