Creative Development

The c
hildren have the opportunity to explore various mediums of art. Messy play is most important! The children's own work is always on display. Much of the art work, together with the music and drama sessions, reflect the themes of our topic studies.

Drama is an integral part of the curriculum. Parents are invited to attend various 'performances' throughout the year. Through role-play, the sessions stimulate the child's imagination as well as encourage them to socialise with others and have a greater understanding of the world around them.

Music plays an important role. The topics involve the main elements of musical study for the pre-school child: singing, instrumental work and making music together.
